At Generous Wealth Management, comprehensive financial planning is our core mission. I have proudly worked in the financial and customer service industries in a client-facing manner since 2004.

During my career, I have had the opportunity to work with a full spectrum of clients, including those opening their first retirement accounts to those on top of the Forbes wealthiest list and their family offices. A family office is one that a wealthy family hires as the necessary professionals to handle their wealth management as full-time employees working solely for the benefit of their family. Each wealthy family has a dedicated CEO who runs their entire office and encompasses subject matter expertise in numerous areas. Family offices are usually reserved for people with an excess of $100 million because of the cost to create and maintain them. Every member of the office collaborates to ensure the family’s goals are achieved. My time working with the world’s wealthiest and supporting their family offices has created a desire to emulate this model for all by collaborating with your existing team of professionals.

As a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner, Chartered Financial Consultant®,  and Enrolled Agent with the IRS I focus on bringing the collaborative planning delivered by Family Offices to the clients who work with our team. This means collaborating with the existing professionals in their lives to cover all aspects of their comprehensive planning needs. This may include details associated with asset allocation, investment research, portfolio manager selection, real estate investment analysis, business planning, estate planning, tax planning, risk management and retirement planning. I cherish the trust and confidence that clients place in me to provide guidance along the path toward financial independence. After 17 years in the industry, I have come to realize that building relationships with clients and their team of professionals allows us to be a resource for them to pursue financial success and, in turn, provide me with the greatest satisfaction.

I hold FINRA Series 65 securities registration, as well as the CFP®, ChFC®, and EA designations listed above. In addition, I am also a Notary Public. Furthermore, I earned a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.

I live with my wife, Emily, and our two children. I consider myself to be an avid Boston sports fan and enjoy reading, exercising, working on my home and garden, and spending time with family and friends.

WEALTH FACILITATOR

I started dabbling in the markets while in college in the mid 1970’s. I continued to be fascinated with how to make money in the markets. Over the next 20 years after college, I think I tried every conceivable way to outwit the market . . . technical analysis, fundamental analysis, every conceivable option strategy imaginable. Sometimes with success and sometimes not.In the late 1990’s the markets were roaring and I was making more money than I ever thought I’d have in my life. I had a great job and seriously considered quitting my job, trading stocks and options for a few hours in the morning and playing golf every afternoon. After all, I was making money hand over fist. What could possibly go wrong?

Well, I sure found out what could go wrong in the early 2000’s. What a reality check! I paid dearly financially and emotionally for thinking I was smarter than the market. I knew there had to be a better way. After burying my head in the sand for a couple of years, I went on a quest to search for the truth about investing. I took classes. I went to conferences and seminars all around the country. It took me about two years but I finally found the answer I was looking for There was this whole investing approach based on academic research. This immediately appealed to me. This was rigorous independent academic research from leading institutions around the country. The academics didn’t have an ax to grind. They were just trying to find the truth about investing. They were looking for the same thing I was. When I delved into the research it absolutely blew me away. The logic was unshakable and the evidence was overwhelming. It was a true epiphany moment for me. I knew I had discovered the truth and it would change the way I invested forever.
